The Denver Nuggets, who are currently 12-10, are a far cry from the squad they were in the past, especially during their 2023 championship run. But for Serbian sensation Nikola Jokic, that isn’t the case. He is having a career year with the Nuggets, even though he has won three of the last four MVP awards. Jokic has been in a different world only in the last two games. He is demonstrating his distinct and varied skill set by scoring at a high rate, grabbing rebounds, and making 3-pointers. Jokic created NBA history as the Nuggets defeated the Atlanta Hawks 141-111 on the road, even though the squad lost badly to the Washington Wizards, who had won three straight games, and split their previous two games 1-1.
Jokic is now in elite company with Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor after recording more than 45 points, ten rebounds, and five assists in two consecutive games.
