Jaxson Dart has a chance to impress NFL scouts and decision-makers this week at the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl.
The former Ole Miss quarterback is in attendance for the showcase and has been impressive so far according to ESPN’s Louis Riddick. The top 2 quarterbacks in this draft class are considered to be Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, but there is no consensus on who will be the 3rd QB off the board.
You’ve seen continual improvement in Jaxson Dart,” said Riddick. “He expects things to get more and more comfortable for him as he starts to learn and try to execute an offense.”
Dart had an extremely productive final season in Oxford, throwing for 4,279 yards with 29 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. The QB set the all-time passing record at Ole Miss and received praise for his leadership and toughness.
“Jaxson is talented enough to do all the things they ask him to do at the NFL level,” Riddick declared. “He has enough mental horsepower to be able to absorb all of this information and then use it in real-time. He can do all of the things you expect an NFL-caliber quarterback to do and I expect that to get better.”
In 39 career games at Ole Miss, Dart threw for 10,617 yards with 72 TDs and 22 INTs. In 2024, Dart passed Eli Manning to become the all-time passing yards leader and ends No. 2 all-time behind Manning in passing TDs.
Riddick is a former NFL player and executive who has a background as a scout. The analyst worked as a scout for the Washington Redskins and served as the director of pro personnel for the Philadelphia Eagles.
