Notre Dame football has officially released its 2025 schedule, as they will look to make a return trip to the College Football Playoff.

The Irish made a deep run, but unfortunately was not able to finish it off, losing in the championship game. The hope is that the 2024 season wasn’t a fluke and head coach Marcus Freeman has pushed the program to the next level.

That will be tested right away in 2025, as Notre Dame will open the season on the road against the Miami Hurricanes. They’ll follow that with the conclusion of its home-and-home matchup against Texas A&M.

A few weeks later the Irish will face a CFP participant from this past year in Boise State, with USC a few weeks later and concluding the season with a trip to Stanford.
Not it wasn’t just the full schedule that got released, it was the way that Notre Dame did it. They got some help from more than a few furry friends, as each of the players who announced a game did it with the help of a dog or two.
It’s time to get excited about what could be the the Irish in 2025, as Notre Dame will return a good amount of starters, with the only real question mark being who will be the starting quarterback.
