Lane Kiffin has done an incredible job recruiting talented football players to Oxford, Mississippi in recent years. While the program has not won anything notable during his tenure, the Ole Miss Rebels are a contender year in and year out.
In 2024, Kiffin supplemented a solid high school recruiting class with one of the very groups of transfer portal players in the country. While these players did not get to win a championship while in college, plenty of them will see their football dreams go on at the next level.
Chad Reuter of NFL.com released a mock draft recently in which five Ole Miss players are projected to be picked in the top 75 picks of the 2025 NFL Draft. If this prediction were to come true, it would be the most players that the Rebels have had selected in that range since 1962.
While big-name players like Jaxson Dart and Walter Nolen have dominated the draft cycle news for Ole Miss, the Rebels have a plethora of players who many think will be selected in the 2025 Draft. Among these other players are Trey Amos, Princely Umanmielen, and Tre Harris.
Nolen and Dart were predicted to land in the first round with the Panthers and Jets, respectively, at picks No. 8 and 31. Amos and Umanmielen are thought to be second-round talents and could land at picks No. 46 and 56 with the Falcons and Bills, and Harris is projected to pick No. 71 by the Saints.
