The University of Georgia is actively pursuing several highly regarded recruits currently committed to the University of Michigan, aiming to bolster their future football rosters.

One notable target is four-star defensive back Brody Jennings from Jacksonville, Florida. Jennings has been committed to Michigan since July 2024. However, Georgia extended an offer to him in January 2025, and Jennings is reportedly considering visits to Athens as the Bulldogs intensify efforts to flip his commitment.

Another prospect on Georgia’s radar is five-star edge rusher Isaiah Gibson. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 245 pounds, Gibson committed to Georgia in June 2024. In November 2024, Michigan extended an offer to Gibson, aiming to sway him from his commitment to the Bulldogs.

Additionally, Georgia’s recent coaching hires have made an impression on Michigan commit Chris Ewald Jr., a four-star cornerback from South Florida. Ewald, who committed to Michigan in December 2023, was on an unofficial visit to Athens when Georgia announced the hiring of Travaris Robinson. Ewald expressed enthusiasm about the coaching additions, noting his longstanding relationship with new staff members and acknowledging Georgia’s consistent competitiveness for national championships.
