While many Notre Dame football fans have seen what linebacker Jack Kiser can do, there were many across the nation who didn’t realize how impressive of a player he is.
Well, people are finally starting to take notice this week, as the Indiana native has been turning heading during the practices leading up to the Senior Bowl this weekend. Kiser is with a few teammates in Mobile, Alabama, one of them being quarterback Riley Leonard, but it’s the captain that has created the most buzz.
Many of us knew that Kiser could play the run, but what has transpired during these practices is his ability to play the pass. He’s made multiple interceptions during some of the open to media portions, which isn’t what we are accustomed to seeing. During Kiser’s five-year Notre Dame career, he only had 4 picks, just one of them over the last three years.
This isn’t the end of the draft process for Kiser, as he’ll still have a chance to impress more NFL general managers during the combine and then when Notre Dame hosts its pro day. Regardless, it very much looks like the he has made a move up draft boards this week.
