Nebraska football landed a commitment fromNotre Dame Fighting Irish offensive lineman Rocco Spindler on Sunday evening. Multiple media reports confirmed this.

Spindler was a member of the Notre Dame team that reached the national championship game. As the right guard, he played in 13 games last season and 23 games over the last two seasons.

This marks the Huskers’ second offensive lineman commitment from the transfer portal. At the beginning of January, Nebraska landed Alabama Crimson Tide offensive tackle Elijah Pritchett.

Nebraska currently has 16 transfers in the 2025 recruiting class. The class itself ranks sixth overall per the 247Sports Transfer Portal Rankings.

Spindler brings experience and a championship pedigree to the Huskers’ offensive line. The program needed additional line depth, and now they have it, along with a bona fide starter.
