The Alabama Crimson Tide will take their first official snaps of 2025 on Monday when Spring practice begins. The stakes are high for Kalen DeBoer and his coaching staff after missing out on the playoffs in his first year in Tuscaloosa. To be fair, the transition to SEC is difficult for everyone, but with one of the best coaching staffs in the country, the expectations are high this year.

Alabama’s coaching staff will look mostly the same, except for new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb. Grubb was expected to be the Tide’s OC a season ago before taking a last minute offer for the same position with the Seattle Seahawks. Despite being let go after just a year in Seattle, he’s a massive addition to the Alabama staff. Former OC Nick Sheridan will remain on the staff as a Co-OC and QB coach.

The Crimson Tide also added former North Carolina DB’s coach and former Alabama DB Jason Jones to an already loaded defensive staff. The entire Alabama staff can be seen below:
