Former University of Georgia football star and ex-ESPN analyst David Pollack has announced that his wife, Lindsey, has been diagnosed with brain cancer and is scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday at Duke University. Pollack shared the news on social media, expressing gratitude for a loving God and requesting prayers for his wife.
David and Lindsey Pollack both grew up in Gwinnett County, Georgia, attending Shiloh High School and Parkview High School, respectively. They have been married since 2005 and have two children. Together, they run The Pollack Family Foundation, which aims to “positively impact communities through empowering families in Athens and the Greater Atlanta area by providing for basic needs and opportunities to flourish.”
David Pollack was a standout defensive end for the Georgia Bulldogs from 2002 to 2004, earning All-American honors each season. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2020. After a brief NFL career with the Cincinnati Bengals, cut short by a neck injury, Pollack became a popular college football analyst on ESPN from 2013 to 2023.
